Yarn Bombing.

I've been so obsessed with crocheting lately that I want to start a Yarn Bombing group in the Dallas/Fort Worth area starting in the fall. Yarn bombing is a type of street art consisting of a group of knitters and crocheters who go around and turn cold lifeless places into something fun and exciting. It's graffiti knitting but unlike normal spray paint graffiti, it's easily removeable if needed aaaaand it's not for street thugs. Just normal people wanting the world look a little more cheerful. :) If you're interesting in starting a group like this with me, let me know!!

  3. Man, I would so be on this if I was in Dallas. My brother and grandmother are down there. Maybe I can get them to take photos for me!

One of my favorite things about Dallas is how strip clubs are next door to churches. Heelarious.

  8. just discovered your blog, and I was just telling my husband last night that I wanted to research a place to yarn bomb. I was just planning on starting out in my area (McKinney), but if you've already started a yarn bombing group in Dallas, I'd love to join!

  12. Hi there. You have used my image without crediting. It's the telephone box with the knitting on it. Please can you send me an email at deadlyknitshade@whodunnknit.com so I can send you an alternative version with a logo on it? I don't mind people using the image but it needs to be credited and as such I'm having to track down where it isn't and sort it out.

    Thanks.
