A Day in Dallas.

We had a fun-filled day on Thursday with my friend Liz.

We stood in line for about an hour and a half for Bakerella's book signing. Kimber did REALLY well while waiting.
She went acorn hunting.

She gave me a really pretty acorn.

We FINALLY got to Bakerella and she was really sweet. She commented on my nail polish and my necklace and she thought Kimber was adorable. :)

We also saw my old Home-Ec teacher from high school! She was there with a few high school students that are in her cooking class. Mrs. Hulme is so sweet and she was one of my favorite teachers. I should go to my old high school one day and visit her.

After looking through our new Cake Pops Book, we wanted some cupcakes so we went to Sprinkles Cupcakes in Dallas. It was super yummy.
I got the Red Velvet Cupcake.

And Kimber got the Caramel Apple Cupcake with the ghost on top.

We went to Dolly Python after eating cupcakes. Dolly Python is a fantastic little vintage clothing and antique shop. My mind was going crazy in there. I wanted everything, but I think that the sugar from the cupcake Kimber ate before finally hit her once we got there so we had to leave a little earlier than what I wanted, but I WILL be back over there soon to shop.

  1. hey! i'm from dallas too! :] sprinkles is the best. and dolly python is pretty neat too. do you ever go to lula b's? or curiosities? although, they don't have as much clothing. just that flea market kind of feel.

  2. ooh! yay! I actually live in Fort Worth, which isn't that far away, but I normally stay around Fort Worth or head a little west to find some awesome antique malls that no one knows about. :) Next time I head toward Dallas, I'm going to have to stop by lula b's and curiosities. Thanks!
