I love, love, LOVE to travel. I've been to many places. My favorite place to travel (so far) is Portland, Oregon. It's sooooooooo green and the people are so super nice. I've been to Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas (of course...I live in Texas), Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon. I don't have an urge to go to somewhere super busy, like New York, NY, but I've always wanted to visit Chicago. Has anyone ever been there or live there? Tell me how it was!
I have! In fact, Chicago was my first big city outside of Texas to visit. It was a great first big city to visit. It had all the fast-paced lifestyle I was looking to visit without being too terribly overwhelming as NYC would later prove to be. Chicago has great museums, fantastic food, lovely areas of the city to amble around, etc. It was also the home of my first cab and train ride. :) Flights are pretty cheap round-trip from the DFW area. I say go!
