is the greatest. He's the most amazing daddy ever! He gets me sushi when we're all out of ideas for dinner. He gives me back rubs EVERY night without me asking. He has never said anything bad about my cooking. He's my best friend that always makes me laugh. I love him dearly.
PLUS...he's super cute and makes adorable babies.

Happy Fall!
It is NOW officially Fall and I couldn't be more excited. I had to celebrate with some warm apple cider. Mmmmm... What are your favorite Fall activities?
I also did some shopping and more crocheting. I'm pretty sure I can crochet granny squares in my sleep now. I have 230 more granny squares to make for Kimber's blanket before it's done. At the rate I'm going, I should be done with it around the first of November. Just in time for the chilly weather.
My thrifty finds for this week:
Cute Ceramic Kitty Piggy Bank for Kimber.
Ceramic Owl Planter.
Ceramic Owl Wall Hanging.
Vintage Wooden Plaque.
Suspender Shorts and Peter Pan collar shirt for Kimber. SUPER CUTE!!
I was planning on cleaning up our new studio, but never got to it this week. :( I hope to do some work on it next week. I'll keep you guys updated. For now, I need to look up some decorating ideas for the studio. Back to working on Kimber's blanket!!

Things Are Moving Along Nicely.
So, the garage sale didn't do as well as I expected. :/ BUT it's ok. The whole goal of it was to get rid of everything in the shop and after we put up signs saying "FREE STUFF", everyone and their moms were there.
EVERYTHING is gone, NOW the goal is to get the shop cleaned up and ready for our new studio. Clean up is not going to be an easy task, but I'm sure it will be fun with my partner in crime, Chelsea. The studio area even comes with our own pigeon mascot. Haha! We're both going to use the studio for the things we make and sell on Etsy. There's EVEN talk of us joining forces soon. Stay tuned for that!
While waiting for customers at our garage sale, we decided to make some of these pretties. They'll be for sale soon on The Crafty Fox Etsy shop.
Oh, and I finally dyed my hair red, but you can't even tell. :(
Today, I finally got started on Kimber's blanket. So far, I'm happy about this blanket and I'm going to actually finish it!
Whoa...I got a lot done in the last few days. There's still a lot more to do! AND Halloween is just around the corner. We STILL don't know what we're going to dress up as. Any suggestions??

Kimber and Mommy Comparison.
Busy Hands.
I've been crocheting everything you can think of. Currently, I'm working on a bunch of coffee cozies to sell in my Etsy shop...JUST in time for Fall and Starbucks best (in my opinon) seasonal coffee; the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Yum! I'll post pictures of them soon. I'm thinking about crocheting some cute banners to sell as well. I REALLY need to start on a new blanket for Kimber before it's too late. I started on one and I don't like it anymore. I signed up for an online class called Home Ec and I haven't even started on ANY of the projects. YIKES! SO many things to do.
I've been itching to start painting again too. Maybe some watercolors? We'll see. My creative juices are flowing like crazy. I love it. Back to work!
SWOON! Here is some Florence + the Machine to start off your day.

Goodness Gracious.
I've been a little busy lately. Which is good, but the past couple of days have been pretty crazy. Like how Kimber locked us out the house yesterday. Oh man...Haha! So, I went out into the garage with Kimber while I was talking on the phone with Chelsea to give her directions to my house. We were about to go thrift shopping. As soon as Chelsea got there I told her to hold on while I got my purse that was inside, and the door in the garage was locked. I didn't have my purse, keys, all the lights were on inside the house. I did, however, have Kimber, my phone, and a car seat in the garage, so we still went thrift shopping. Where...
I found these super cute shoes.
I also found a cute dress and some wire baskets to hold my yarn. I'll post pictures of them soon. Chelsea also found some super cute dresses. By the time we got done shopping, Jason was on his way back home and he had the key to the door. I'm just thankful Kimber didn't lock herself inside and that I had my phone.
I don't know about you, but I want a nice glass of wine when I get home from work.

Garage Sale!!
Chelsea and I are going to help my mom with a HUGE garage sale at her shop this week and we're SO EXCITED!! You see, my mom owns a small strip mall and two of her shops haven't been used in years because we've been using it for storing garage sale items for at least five years. My mom kept saying that she would eventually get to it, but this time it's going to be done because...once the rooms are cleared out, my mom is going to allow Chelsea and me to use it as our art/sewing/craft room until she finds out what she wants to do with it. This is PERFECT for both of us. Chealsea and I both need some extra room to create and get our businesses going a little faster...AND there is an alteration shop next door with some adorable old ladies that are willing to help me sew!! This is exactly what I needed to get myself motivated.

What I wore...
My four days off flew by REAL quick. I didn't get much done either. I did manage to start my own "What I Wore Today".
What WE wore. 9/2/10
Mommy is wearing: a vintage Mexican Oaxacan Dress found in Portland's Buffalo Exchange with brown belt found at Forever 21 and brown riding boots from Windsor.
Kimber is wearing: Owl Smock dress (gift at unknown store) and brown suede sandles found at Old Navy.
What I wore. 9/3/10
I am wearing a white v-neck t-shirt from Forever 21, a blue vintage handmade full skirt bought on Etsy, and red flats that I've had for at least 5 years.
