Dream Catcher.

I had a dream last night. I can't remember the last time I dreamt, but it felt good to dream. I was getting worried I would never dream again. I've been thinking about Portland so much that I guess my brain likes my thinking and it decides that I should think about Portland even while I'm sleeping. My dream started out on a SUPER busy sidewalk in downtown Portland. Jason and I are fighting our way through the crowd to get to a vintage clothing shop. We make it inside and I start trying on dresses...in the middle of the store. People are starring at me, but it doesn't bother me. Then, the next thing I know, Jason's gone. I find the dress I want and go looking for him on the busy sidewalk and find him at Powell's book store looking at comics. I know that's not an amazing dream, but when you don't dream in a long time, you take what you can get. Happy dreaming!!

Etsy Shop is Offically OPEN!

I finally opened my Etsy shop this weekend. You can find it here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/followXtheXdot?ref=seller_info

I still need to do some editing on my shop, i.e. the banner. I'm also planning on posting a lot more items, hopefully sometime today. I'm slowly, but surely, getting closer to my dream. I just wish I had a little more support from friends and family. Everyone thinks I'm not going to go through with it, but I am! And this proves it. I felt relief and empowerment whenever I posted my first item. Now all I have to do is sell the items. Well, I'm working on some embroidery to sell in my shop. I'll keep you posted!!

The Crafty Fox.

Hey guys! I finally got started on my dream of selling homemade items, vintage goodies, independent art, etc. I'm calling it The Crafty Fox. I'm so excited! We'll be opening a store on Etsy.com soon and I'll be sure to update you on that. I've been crafting away for the past few days and my mind is FLOODED with all sorts of ideas. While at work, I've been cross stitching like crazy. I love it so much. I never want to stop. I've found out that the best way to get a cross stitching project done is to listen to music while doing it. I've been listening to a band called Chief. I highly recommend that you listen to them.

My dream home.

We just got a letter saying that if we want to renew our lease on our house that we have to notify them within two weeks. I know that we're going to stay at the house, but I really want to move into a house I really like. I found this one that's in our price range, it's closer to my work AND it's super adorable.
